Tina

Most people have something precious tucked away. A watch chain from grandpa, your great aunts engagement ring or a gift from an old flame. Treasures that no longer get the love and wear they deserve.

The beautiful thing about precious metals is that they are very recyclable. Most gold pieces can be melted down and made into something completely new.

During a remodelling appointment at Arbor we test all your gold and gems to see what we are working with. We will discuss ideas, sentiments and feasibility of what we can achieve. Designs are often imbued with special meaning and symbolism, sometimes they are just more aesthetically pleasing or practical.

We take all the information gathered in this meeting and start sketching and working on a quote, sometimes a second consult is needed to really lock down the right design.

In this case Tina had a cache of old gold and an idea. She wanted a collection of rings that could each sit alone or be stacked together. We created four rings from her old unworn jewels, breathing new life into them to be treasured again for another generation.
